You can use the following forms to estimate your potential benefits. This is not intended to be an accurate calculation of your benefits, but it will assist you in getting an idea of what your benefits should be. ThIs calculator IS for informational purposes only and IS not intended to reflect what your benefit might be under any option. Option factors are based on mortality tables and interest rates that are subject to change. The Age nearest the birthday determines the age used to compute the benefit. Maximum Benefit
This is the monthly benefit due the member, based on creditable service and final average salary, and is not reduced. The Maximum option does not provide a monthly benefit to a beneficiary. Each month the member receives a benefit, the benefit amount is subtracted from the member contributions. If there are contributions remaining at the member's death, they would be paid in a lump sum to the person(s) named as beneficiary on the *option form or to the member's estate. RS 11:2178I(1)(a)
