December’s benefit will be sent out on December 14, 2001; this is not an extra check or bonus. The next check which is January’s benefit will be sent out January 31, 2002. We normally send pension checks on the last business day of the month, but December’s check is processed before the end of the month to provide funds for holiday expenses. In past years, the early check has caused some confusion. Hopefully this notice will eliminate any misunderstanding.
